I have a background in Graphic Design, having completed over 360 short-term Graphic Design projects through freelancing marketplaces from 2015 to 2017.

My approach to design methodology is both systematic and user-centric. I start by deeply engaging with the user’s needs, preferences, and pain points through research and user interviews. This forms the foundation for the ideation phase, where potential solutions are brainstormed and iterated upon.
Subsequently, I create wireframes and prototypes, which are tested and refined based on user feedback.
Collaboration is key, so I regularly liaise with developers, stakeholders, and other team members to ensure the design aligns with both user goals and technical feasibility. This iterative process continues until a well-crafted, user-friendly solution emerges.
Ultimately, my methodology is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and continuous refinement to ensure the end product is both delightful and functional.
My user research process begins with identifying the primary goals and questions we aim to address. From there, I choose the most appropriate research methods, which could range from interviews and surveys to observational studies. Throughout the process, I ensure that participants represent our target user base, and I analyze the collected data to derive actionable insights.
I actively listen to and clarify feedback→ categorize it for systematic revisions → create updated prototypes to visualize changes → test iteratively for effectiveness → collaborate with team members to ensure feasibility → document design changes for transparency, and always circle back with stakeholders to ensure their concerns are adequately addressed.
First and foremost, I listen actively and without defensiveness, understanding that feedback is a valuable resource for improvement. I then analyze the feedback to discern its root cause and validity. If applicable, I iterate on my designs, incorporating the feedback while still aligning with the project’s goals and user needs. Regularly liaising with stakeholders, users, and team members helps me maintain transparency and ensure that the design evolves in the right direction. I view constructive criticism as an opportunity for growth and continuous refinement in the design journey.
I continuously monitor design innovations, but I prioritize trends that align with the specific goals and requirements of my projects. User research plays a significant role, I gather feedback to ascertain which trends resonate with our target audience. Additionally, I consider the longevity and sustainability of a trend, opting for those that offer lasting value rather than fleeting appeal.
Also, I frequently discuss potential trend adoption with my team to ensure our choices are holistic and in line with our brand’s identity and mission.
